Abode Outside is a Minnesota-based, family-owned clothing brand inspired by camping trips into the wilderness.

1995 - 2005

Family camping trips into the Boundary Waters inspired a love of the wilderness that grew over the years and eventually evolved into a clothing brand dedicatd to nature.

2008

The Founder has hands-on experienc in knitwear production, having spent time at knitwear facilities throughout Asia. Pictured here during an early trip to Hong Kong.

2012

Founder is certified as Wilderness First Responder in 2012 through the National Outdoor Leadership School.

2018

Studied Sustainable Fashion online through the London College of Fashion, an experience that, together with earning a Wilderness First Responder certification, laid the foundation for Abode Outside.

2020

Launched Abode Outside online with one product: The Neck Gaiter. Designed to offer people a smart, sustainable, fashionable and multi-functional face cover.

2021

Diversified inventory to include Woodland Hoodie, which remains one of our most popular styles.

2022

Abode Outside expands product offering and establishes relationships with first retailers around Minnesota.

2023

A strong response to our brand and product propels regional growth to 20+ retailers around the Midwest.
